Gardening
The Role
Dear friends, we are searching for a new colleague to join our garden and greenhouse team as our Head Gardener.
Plants play a crucial role in our dishes and creative decorations. Our new Head Gardener will not only care for our beautiful garden and greenhouses but also work closely with noma’s kitchen team and interior designer.
We have quite the diverse care and production of both edible and ornamental plants, annuals, and perennials; as such, experience in various gardening areas is welcome.
Salary is negotiable and based on experience, but besides that, the job includes 5 weeks paid vacation per year, pension and insurance plan, standard Danish healthcare (free doctor and hospital), plus additional private healthcare provided by noma, which includes dental, physiotherapy, osteopath, psychologist, and more. If the right individual is outside the EU system, we will help provide legal support for visa processing.

What we’re looking for
- Skills and knowledge about propagation, soil health, production, perennial gardens, and biological control are beneficial.
- Having prior experience in the restaurant industry or working on small farms can also be advantageous.
- Someone who is passionate, creative, self-motivated, and highly organized.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in leading our gardening team and collaborating with the many stakeholders in our community (e.g., test kitchen, chefs, waiters, farmers, and suppliers).
