MAD (taken from the Danish word for “food”) is a nonprofit organization that inspires and educates the cooking community to make a difference in their restaurants, communities, and the world at large. Chef René Redzepi began MAD as a two-day symposium in 2011. Today, MAD’s community encompasses chefs and entrepreneurs, farmers and scholars, students and the public.
