The role

Front of house
The role
As head barista at noma you will be working in our beverage program, collaborating with amazing coffee and tea producers from around the world. With each new season we develop a completely new menu of both hot and cold beverages, from custom tea blends, to locally foraged herbal infusions, to uniquely tailored coffee roasts. Our selection is of great importance to us and ever-changing, as we work with only thoughtful and focused producers.
Here at noma we work as one team – meaning that your work is more than just tea and coffee. You need to learn about everything that goes on in our restaurant and become capable of working service on the floor.
We are also looking for someone willing to make a long-term commitment. Once you get here, you will understand that one year is not enough. We can promise you that it is going to be fun, you’ll learn a lot, and you will be part of what we consider to be one of the best teams on the planet: a team that constantly pushes. Requirements
- You will need a minimum of five years of barista experience
- We need you to be professional, positive, unpretentious, and curious

The role
As a sommelier at noma you will be working in our wine cellar as well as with amazing brewers, distillers, roasters, and other artisans whom we collaborate with. Every season we develop a completely new assortment of drinks, from wine and juice pairings to custom tea blends, coffee roasts, beer selections, and cocktails. Our wine pairing is of great importance to us and ever-changing, as we work with only small scale producers. The kind of wine we serve are an integral part of noma’s philosophy, and a connection with natural wine and its makers is essential!

Requirements
- You will need a minimum of five years of restaurant experience working with natural wine as well as knowledge of classical wine.

The role

Leadership experience and a strong background in wine and beverage is preferable. We are also looking for someone to make a long-term commitment.
