Disclaimer
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the application and selection process for participation in the Noma LA Industry Table (the “Program”).
By applying, applicants acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Purpose of the Program
The Program is an industry-focused initiative by Noma to bring together hospitality professionals in Los Angeles. Participation is by application and selection only. It is not a competition, giveaway, sweepstakes, or lottery.
2. Application Requirements
Applicants must complete and submit the online survey in good faith and to the best of their professional knowledge. The purpose of the survey is to help Noma understand applicants’ backgrounds, industry roles, interests, and contributions, to ensure a relevant, diverse, and balanced selection.
3. Eligibility
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old and not older than 25.
- Only individuals working within the hospitality, food, beverage industries may apply.
- Employees, contractors, or immediate family members of Noma or Noma Projects are not eligible.
4. Application Period
The application period opens 11 January 2026 and closes at 11:59 PM CET on 9 February 2026. Applications received after this time will not be considered.
5. Selection Process
- Selection is made solely at the discretion of Noma and is based on the information provided, including professional relevance, diversity of perspectives, and alignment with the objectives of the Program.
- Selection is not random, and no purchase, payment, or consideration is required.
- Selected applicants (“Participants”) will be notified by email on a rolling basis throughout the period in which the restaurant is open.
- Participants must confirm acceptance within two (2) days of receiving notification.
6. Participation
Participation in the Industry Table is personal, non-transferable, and cannot be sold, exchanged, gifted, or used for any commercial or promotional activity. Noma may revoke participation if these terms are breached.
7. Survey Submission Rules
- Each person may submit one application.
- Incomplete, illegible, or misleading applications may be rejected.
- Noma may verify applicant identity and professional background where necessary.
8. Failure to Accept
If a selected applicant does not confirm participation within the required timeframe, Noma may offer the seat to another applicant or reallocate it at its discretion.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by Danish law and applicable California law:
- Noma is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the Program.
- Noma does not provide warranties regarding the suitability of participation.
- Any non-excludable rights under Danish consumer and contract law remain unaffected.
10. No Payment or Consideration
The Program involves no payment, fee, or purchase by applicants. Participation in the Industry Table is offered at no cost to selected Participants and does not constitute taxable income unless required under local law, which remains the responsibility of the Participant.
11. Personal Data
- Noma collects and processes personal data provided in the application for the purpose of administering the Program and future communication where consent is provided.
- Personal data may be shared with third-party service providers for administrative purposes only and in accordance with Danish and applicable international data protection laws.
- Applicants may request access, correction, or deletion of their personal data at any time.
- All data will be handled in accordance with Noma’s Privacy Policy:
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Danish law, except where mandatory consumer protection rules of the applicant’s place of residence (including California) apply.
